Three steps, specifically designed to maximise your positioning to attract investment.
Stage 1. A first pass evaluation with you and your team, encompassing an assessment to evaluate strengths and depth of your business representation and identify gaps. We will get to know your business, prioritising areas for development, evaluating and reviewing your business and investor facing information, including:
Supporting information such as Opportunity Note, Investor Presentation (Pitch Deck*), Investment Memorandum, Financial Forecast and overall business plan.
Valuation and investment base case
Market and competitor understanding
The overall addressable market(s) for your products & services
Stage 2: A deep dive into the critical aspects that investors look for in assessing an opportunity, addressing the gaps identified in Stage 1. This is where we use the ‘5M module’, reviewing information obtained at the Stage 1 Audit and working with you to address the gaps. Examples of some areas we focus on include:
How complete is the management team?
How deep is their sector knowledge?
How will the team market and sell their product?
How well can the team demonstrate its understanding of its addressable market clearly in terms of size, trends and gaps? How is this evidenced?
The company's value proposition: how/why it compels potential customers to choose its product or service over a competitors. What strategic partnerships critical to success or competitive advantage are in place?
What is the pre-money valuation based on? How will the company use investor’s funds to increase the value of the business and reach a successful exit? What is the path to monetisation?
What traction does the business have? How is it moving forward to reach pre-defined goals and milestones that create value or mitigate risk?
Stage 3: Ensuring that the company is presented through its documentation and deck in the strongest way possible with respect to the findings from 5M, with the gaps filled or a plan to go forward to do so. Fine tuning and of the Opportunity Note, Investor Presentation, Investment Memorandum and Financial Forecast, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
Three step program as per the above: £€$4485 plus VAT. The program is structured to run over 3 months - breaks can be built in between stages if your business needs them.
Pitch Deck only reviews: £€$299.00 plus VAT per session. Financial support may be offered by certain government, local support agencies or banks. Contact Greenbackers for details.
Pitching without the right preparation
wastes investors valuable time...
and it wastes yours.
Funders see dozens, potentially hundreds, of pitch presentations a year. They expect potential investees to clearly, concisely and professionally articulate where their business is currently, where it wants to go and how it’s going to get there. Nothing less will do.
"Greenbackers were invaluable in helping me prepare my pitch deck. Their advice was exactly what I needed to get the message across to my audience which led to the follow up investor meetings I was seeking." Marcus Taylor, Founder, Isolode, Sweden
Greenbackers speaks with investors every day.
We understand them and we bring our insights to you. We provide the one-on-one support that will help you get investment-ready faster, working with you to develop the key tools and materials essential to every successful fundraise:
The Opportunity Note: an executive summary of the business, raise and offering.
An Investor Presentation: your pitch deck for face to face presentations and demos.
The Investment Memorandum: a full investment document which details product, markets, the problem and solution, financials and plans and how the business will scale and achieve milestones that will ultimately lead to a successful exit.
The Financial Forecast: a well-documented set of financial projections, including valuation and dilution, that are not only compelling but also logical and defensible.
Investing in small companies involves risks, including illiquidity, lack of dividends, loss of investment and dilution, and it should be done only as part of a diversified portfolio.
